Mentioned recently that my iPad was on its last legs after nearly 6 years of faithful service. So started thinking about a replacement. I only use it for reading RSS and some YouTube before bed. Instead of looking for a replacement, I just decided to stop watching YT before bed, and read RSS on my phone. 🤷♂️
Now I pick-up my Kindle instead, which is far better than watching crap on YT.
Out of office is on, work phone is switched off, and that's me for 2024! Merry Christmas, all! 🎉

So after 2 weeks with the Pixel 8, I'm back in my iPhone 13 Mini - the Pixel is getting returned today. I'll write something about it all soon. Probably.
So my iPad is like 6 years old at this point and it's really starting to creek. I only use it for some YouTube and reading before bed, so don't need anything fancy.
I'd love an iPad Mini, but no chance of me paying that much! Thinking maybe an Amazon Fire tablet. Any other recommendations?

A storm has hit today so it's wet and windy AF. So much so that the wind is forcing the rain into the cracks in our chimney and forcing it inside. 🫣
We decided to light fire to A) dry it out, and B) keep us warm. But we realised we don't have enough wood (FFS!)
So I've had to do a panic run to the barn to chop enough wood to see us through.
